Street Markets, From Food to the Antiquities - MILAN Welcome City Guide (2024)

Street markets characterize the area in which they are located: they serve as a real attraction for both visitors and savvy Milanese shoppers alike.
Discover how each one has specialized in something different from the others.

“FIERA DI SINIGAGLIA”

The only “flea market” in Milan, it attracts a varied public ranging from collectors to bargain hunters. Since the 19th century, this market has animated the Ticinese district. Once located in the Darsena, it now extends with a hundred or so stalls along the Naviglio Grande, between via Paoli and via Barsanti. Milanese and tourists alike come to the Fiera di Sinigaglia to find vintage or trendy clothing, modern or ethnic objects, vinyls, books and coins for collectors.
