You can never get enough of Brownies. I know its easy to make brownies from a box mix, but I am going to share with you this Easy Brownie Recipe that will make you feel like a true baker.
There are two sweet treats that I love the most in life and those two treats are Chocolate Chip Cookies and Brownies. I LOVE Brownies. Brownies are just one of those treats that you can never just have one (at least I can’t). I am a goner if I get my hands on a Brownie Bite. Because they are so small, I always convince myself that having more than one is not as bad as eating an entire square. Well, that is completely irrelevant when you eat five Brownie Bites…in one sitting! Oh well, in my mind I still did okay.
I know how easy it is to make brownies from a box mix. Trust me, I get it and I think they are good options for quick fixes. However, if you really want to expand your baking abilities and impress your friends and family, you have to make Brownies from scratch at least once in your life. I mean come on. It really isn’t that bad.
I have made brownies before and shared that recipe with all of you in this blog post for Seriously Chocolate Brownies. Those Brownies are extremely chocolatey. But this recipe is simple and basic. Nothing to be afraid of at all. It was really important for me to create a brownie recipe that had a shiny coat. You guys know what I mean. Do you see that shiny crust in those pictures? That is what Brownies are made of. I have made brownies from scratch where they look like black bricks or chocolate cornbread and the audacity to be called Brownies. I’m sorry, those aren’t Brownies. These babies are.
Making this Easy Brownie recipe is really easy. All you do is melt some chocolate in with some butter. Add some eggs, flour, vanilla extract, and stir that mix until smooth and well mixed. Pour it into an 8X8 pan and you’ve got Brownies. I added some milk chocolate chips to the mix for a balance of unsweetened chocolate and sweetened chocolate. Perfect! You can add walnuts or pecans if you would like.

These brownies look SO dense and rich. Exactly how a homemade brownie should be. I am not about those crumbly, airy brownies you make from a mix. And your recipe is so simple! Can’t wait to try for a back-to-school snack
